EAC and FVAP Discuss "45 Before 45"
Today the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) announced the release of "45 before 45."
The EAC and Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) are working together to help ensure the successful delivery and counting of ballots from military and overseas voters in the 2016 Presidential Election and beyond.
As a part of that effort, EAC chair Tom Hicks sat down for a conversation with FVAP Director Matt Boehmer to discuss what election officials can do to prepare to send absentee ballots to military and overseas citizen voters starting September 24, 2016 - 45 days prior to Election Day, as mandated by the Military and Overseas Voter Empowerment (MOVE) Act.
