Organizations Serving Military Service Members

Instructions:

This outreach toolkit can support your organization in its efforts to help active duty military members vote absentee in the 2024 elections — from anywhere in the world.

You're welcome to customize and publish the following shared content on your channels in order to reach military members living away from their voting residence.

Active duty military members stationed away need extra time to vote absentee. There are three elections in 2024, so it's never too early to share this information. For the General Election on November 5, 2024, it's best to share by mid-July so voters have time to register and request a ballot by August 1, 2024 (though state deadlines may be later).

Voting Weeks Toolkits

Instructions:

This outreach toolkit can support your organization in its efforts to maximize the importance of voter registration as part of Military Voter's Week, Overseas Citizens Voters Week, Absentee Voters Week, Independence Day activities, etc.

You're welcome to customize and publish the following shared content on your channels in order to reach U.S. citizens living abroad.
Available content includes:

  • Social media posts and graphics for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), etc.
  • Infographics for social media or sharing directly with overseas citizens.
  • Wallet cards to distribute to voters as a reminder of the absentee voting process.
  • A detailed flowchart for voters to follow along with as they begin the voting process.

U.S. citizens living abroad need extra time to vote absentee, so it's never too early to share this information. Overseas Citizens Voters Week is a great time to enhance outreach to absentee voters with a focus on registering and requesting their absentee ballot using the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).
